Since 2015, I’ve shared conscious practices to hundreds of people in the underground punk scene through classes, workshops + online courses.

I write about the Conformity Culture because I want us to ditch the frame of mind that ridicules those of us suffering in mental turmoil - and that's also one of the goals of the thoughtful, socially committed, conscious punx I work with.

My students are aspiring to find comfort in who they are and their values + beliefs, feel in control of their actions + reactions, and they want to inspire others to do the same. Let's run riot on "normal".

A note about my lineage

I have two yoga teacher training qualifications. One with the International School of Dru Yoga, a style derived from the Hatha Yoga tradition of South India. The second is in Kundalini Yoga a tradition practiced in secrecy in India for thousands of years and brought to the western shores in 1968 by Yogi Bhajan. I trained with Gloria Latham through her Semperviva Yoga School. I've found Kundalini Yoga an incredibly beneficial practice. However, I do not condone the behaviour of the teacher of whom my lineage is from. Instead, I carry forward the beneficial practices from which I've learned and respect that at its core, it is an ancient spiritual practice from India. I leave behind the oppressive and predatory behaviour of Yogi Bhajan and am a supporter of dismantling rape culture.

Kundalini Yoga is a sacred practice and not the product of one teacher. Which is why my classes are Kundalini Yoga Inspired rather than of a direct lineage.
